Winston Churchill became closely associated with Romeo y Julieta after visiting Havana in 1946, and his name later became linked to the brand’s most famous vitola, the Romeo y Julieta Churchill. Further releases such as Short Churchills, Wide Churchills and Petit Churchills have kept that connection at the centre of the modern range.
The Cuban range is made with tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo region in Pinar del Río, the key growing area for Habanos. Romeo y Julieta is generally known for a balanced, aromatic, medium-bodied style, with one of the broader selections of long-filler, handmade sizes within the Habanos portfolio.
