Enzo Mari is considered one of the greatest Italian and world designers. Piemontese by birth, he graduated in 1952 from the Brera Academy in Milan and made his debut as a designer in 1957. The many products designed for prestigious brands such as Olivetti, Alessi and Artemide have earned him 5 Compassi d’oro. In his projects Enzo Mari has always favoured functionality because, according to him, objects must always address the end user, his needs and desires.
